COLLEEN PETERSON background

As president of Peterson Hill Marketing, Inc. Colleen Peterson brings over 19 years of diverse, client and agency side, marketing experience in the consumer products, wireless, telecom, utility, healthcare and enterprise software industries to the growing company.

In 2000, Colleen launched Peterson Hill Marketing and quickly put her entrepreneurial spirit to work by pioneering a concept called Interim Marketing™. This client-driven, flexible concept provides customized marketing expertise to clients when they need it most. To bring this concept to life, Colleen built the Peterson Hill Resource Network, an impressive group of more than 15 creative, media, interactive and brand professionals, each with over a decade's worth of experience in their respective marketing discipline. For the past eight years, she has refined and expanded the services of Peterson Hill Marketing to meet changing client and market needs.

Colleen previously held executive positions at Sony Electronics where she was recruited to manage a $15 million national advertising budget for the wireless handset division. Soon she ws given the increased responsibility of traditional marketing which included product pricing, channel marketing, and management of Seihan, the Japanese forecasting and inventory process. In this multi-faceted role, Colleen thrived in working directly with carrier customers and retailers in the United States, Canada and Latin America.

After Sony, Colleen served as director of marketing at NeoPoint, Inc., a dynamic start-up in the smartphone and smartservice category, where she reported to the CEO and supervised a team of twelve in building the NeoPoint brand from scratch during the critical pre-IPO period.

Aside from Colleen's corporate experience, she has held senior account management positions and spearheaded successful agency new business efforts at Capener, Matthews & Walcher, now known as Matthews | Evans | Albertazzi.
